The Ashenso counsellors collaborate with teachers to ensure students receive the necessary attention to succeed in the learning environment, schedule courses to meet graduation requirements, and provide academic and emotional support.
The Ashenso counsellors are trained to review and evaluate a wide variety of incoming student documentation, including report cards, transcripts, entrance assessment scores, and any additional documentation such as academic records, academic assessments, and evaluation documents. At the elementary, junior high, and senior high school levels, the counsellors collaborate with parents to develop individualized academic plans, guide career choices, and assist with college admissions. The counsellors support parents in assigning courses based on the students' grade levels, talents, skills, and interests.
